Winemaker's comments:

Gentle herbaceous base note of dried lavender underpins more typical fynbos, blue and black fruit on the nose.
A structured, elegant yet powerful wine, the palate delivers black cherry, plum and dried herb flavours with a subtle punctuation of black pepper. Layered and complex, the ripe fruit is both succulent and beautifully integrated with the oak, which adds a light, dry tannin frame. The finish is long and refined.

Winemaker's comments:

Trademark vivid black cherry, blueberry and spice aromas with a hint of autumn leaf and graphite. Complex but light.
That same deftness and complexity is apparent in the mouth: flavours of cocoa, turned earth or forest floor with spiced black berry fruit. Soft textured and velvety with gentle tannin squeeze and an undertone of power and depth. A nuanced, poised wine which is simultaneously ethereal and brooding. Good body, balance and length.

Chenin Blanc

Winemaker's comments:

An attractive whiff of elderflower underpins a rich, bold sundried fruit melange of mango, pineapple, peach and apricot.
The palate more than delivers what the nose promises: rich, rounded and multi-dimensional. That ripe tropical fruitiness is balanced by fresh acidity making for a poised mouthful overall. There is a gentle note of freshly-squeezed orange and an alluring creaminess to the palate. Ample vibrancy, life and poise ends with a long, memorable tail.
